Friends first time dming and he’s made a level 10 campaign based around Monster Hunter. I have made a triton eldritch knight who was Ariel from the little mermaids bodyguard before the events of the movie. I regularly quote the movie in unusual ways.

Then as we are leaving a forest biome into the desert.

Me: look what you got, a lot of sand. Back in the water realm, Atlantis, We got a hot crustacean band!

At the end of the session we fought stone golems and because I dealt the most damage I get what is essentially a golem heart stone. I use it to make a stone crab golem familiar that I have named Sebastian. DnD is a serious game for serious people.
