Sleep anywhere…

Be it making a nest, finding a hole or cave to crawl into, or surrounding yourself with pack-mates, all creatures need to feel safe before they allow themselves to fall asleep.

So, for those humans who can just “fall asleep anywhere” I can see aliens being flattered that the human considers themself so safe around them that he/she can just sit in a chair in the middle of a crowded, noisy, room and just fall asleep.

Alternatively… some aliens may be more terrified, as they may think that the human considers them such a non-threat, that they feel safe even when surrounded be potential attackers.

“Human Steve?”

“Sssh, Drblx” – Alice raised a finger to her mouth. “He’s asleep.”

The grklonian eyed the human in question suspiciously. “ How is that even possible?”

“To fall asleep with your face in your breakfast? He’s been up working for over fifty hours, had to pass out at some point.”

“But why did human Steve not retreat to the safety of his sleeping pod, human Alice? Is he that exhausted? Does he need medical attention?”

“Nah, give him an hour and he’ll crawl to the pod on his own. Wait, ‘safety’?”

“Well, I assume you don’t treat each other as a threat, but to allow himself such vulnerability in front of a grklonian…”

Alice snorted. “Drblx. You’re a crewmate, a friend and a ball of fluffy pink fur. You’re lucky Steve didn’t use you as a pillow.”

Drblx, one of Grklonian Dominion’s most seasoned supersoldiers, had never felt so insulted in their life.

11/10 great addition.

So in light of yet another youtuber turning out to be a horrible human being, I thought I’d share some gaming youtubers who, as far as I know and hopefully won’t change any time soon, are actual good people.

  • Arlo: He’s a youtuber that makes videos talking about video game news, does short video essays on video game related things, or reviews of games. And the things he talks about are usually Nintendo related. And the best part? He talks in his videos with a blue, Jim Hensonesque puppet
  • Brutalmoose: Technically he’s not a gaming youtuber anymore, but most of his early videos were game related. Nowadays he makes a lot of really funny videos reviewing tv dinner type meals.
  • Nitro Rad: Nitro Rad is probably one of my favorite youtubers. His niche is mainly making videos reviewing old 3D platformers. And he talks about games that a lot of people haven’t covered before. His content is all very good.
  • OutsideXbox & OutsideXtra: Another favorite of mine. OutsideXbox and OutsideXtra are the most adorkable bunch of British gamers you’ll ever see. They have a show of the week they post every Friday. They do list videos such as, for example “7 times you got mocked for trying, so never try again”. And they also occasionally do let’s plays and livestreams.
  • MiniMe: This is one I just recently discovered. He does reviews of really obscure video games that not a lot of people talk about. A lot of his reviews happen to be on licenced games. I really enjoyed his recent video on the “The Godfather” tie-in game and his reviews on the Pixar’s Cars video games.
  • Scykoh: On his main channel he posts videos about glitches in video games. But he hasn’t posted anything in a while so most of his content comes from his secondary channel scykohplays. He just recently finished a playthrough of PokePark 2 for the Wii and now he’s playing Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee. He recently, as a really funny April Fool’s joke, pretended to be doing a Minecraft hardcore, died in the first 5 or 10 minutes then proceeded to spend the rest of the video talking about the best way to eat corn dogs and then read the script for the first episode of the Pokemon anime series.

Additions of mine (I might’ve spelt some longer names wrong. Don’t burn me please)

Chuggaconory! One of the oldest let’s players I know of.

RTGame. Try to tell me you haven’t heard his name once. Go check him out if you want to.

If you like RT, go check out CallMeKevin. You’ll love him if you like RT. I recommend his Fallout 3 and New Vegas playthroughs. Be ready though, you’ll never say ‘fuck’ the same way again.

I second OutsideXbox and OutsideXtra.

Scykoh has a let’s play channel! Go check it out.

Bored? Go watch some GDQ speedruns. I recommend the Pokemon Glitch Showcase (? It’s something along those lines…)

Oh heck I’m a subscriber to CallMeKevin. First time I’ve seen him mentioned in the wild.

If you like Skyrim and Fallout (3, New Vegas, 4), check out Gopher.

He puts out family friendly (mostly) let’s plays of the above, plus some.

Who’s having some realizations about their early childhood right now 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

yeah i did exactly this. this is how children interpret panic attacks and such, so if your kid tells you they have stomach aches, especially sudden, around certain times of days, certain places, or certain events, they are likely having panic attacks

SO MUCH MORE STUFF MAKES SENSE NOW! AND IT AFFECTS ADULTS THAT WAY TOO~
