Furbies don’t eat meat

that’s what they want you to think

Observation: Furbies have forward facing eyes for depth perception, are very intelligent (capable of rudimentary speech), have varying amounts of camouflage, they have blunt mouthparts incapable of eating seeds or chewing cud, their faces are naked (like vultures), they are naturally social

Conclusion: furbies are pack hunters, harmless when alone but able to take down large prey in groups. They are ambush hunters, and after mobbing prey dig deep into their flesh. Furbies work together to outsmart prey that is more mobile, or larger than themselves.
