Bernie did this for Disney, now Amazon. I hope I have half that kind of fight in me when I get older.
My mom just sent an email to the HR team citing this as why they had to increase pay for their warehouse workers. Businesses are talking and they know they have to increase wages or go under.
Also as a note: this move does just enough to cover the distance left by inflation. We still can and should move to do better.
